Council Asks Asian Games Technical Preparation to Be Accommodated in KUA-PPAS

City Council Commission D asks each related SKPDs to propose more budget for Asian Games Technical preparation in APBD Public Policy and Priority of Temporary Budget Ceiling (KUA-PPAS) 2018.

"According to Commission D internal meeting result, we still find several Asian Games preparations with less proportional budget," said Iman Satria, Commission D Chairman, Thursday (11/9).

According to him, technical preparations conducted by assigned SKPDs for Asian Games 2018 give high influence on the success for Jakarta as a host. His side also mentioned about Jakarta Environment (LH) Dept. and Bina Marga Dept.

"We ask Environment Dept. and Bina Marga to concentrate preparing Asian Games additional budget," he added.

His side hopes Jakarta LH Dept. could optimally handling trash along Asian Games event. It is considered many activities will be held, many people will visit thus trash will be piling up.

"For Bina Marga, we want all roads to be re-concreted. Especially in venue. Don't let athletes complain the venue because it is muddy," he closed.
